Benefit Brews Night for the Nate Chute Foundation
February 12 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This year we decided to restructure out Benefit Brews Night program by giving our employees the opportunity to choose what organizations we donate to. Up this month is one of our lovely beer-tenders Emily, who choose the Nate Chute Foundation.
This mission of the Nate Chute Foundation is dedicated to reducing suicide among young people in Northwest Montana and Flathead County through suicide prevention, education and training; mental health counseling; and efforts to reduce substance abuse and improve self esteem.
Here’s a little bit about why Emily choose this great organization. “As a high school teacher, I see the influence that the Nate Chute Foundation has had on our schools and communities first hand. I have personally been certified through the Student Assistance Program, a suicide prevention and support program that gives educators the tools to facilitate support groups in our schools. This was completely funded by the Nate Chute Foundation. NCF also provides so many resources in the Flathead Valley to help support our teens who have thought about suicide or have experienced the loss of someone close to them. These includes Student Assistance Program, Youth mental health first aide classes, Suicide Prevention Counseling services, and various community support groups and awareness talks. Montana has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation and NCF is at the forefront of this epidemic, giving resources to those of us who work with teens every day.”
Please join us Tuesday, February 12th in support of this great cause. For every beer you buy from 5pm-8pm we will donate $1 to NCF!
