Benefit Brews Night: The Great Blue Song Project
July 9 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
5 years now and we still marvel at how our community has made, and continues to make KBC a special place where people gather to make plans and promote positive change. Such a wonderful community deserves to be celebrated and supported. Our Benefit Brews Nights were created to help local non-profit organizations engage with the community and meet new faces, while raising money and awareness for their programs.
This year we changed things up just a bit, and let our employees pick which organizations we donated to. We’ve had some amazing nights promoting and helping the groups that are near and dear to our hearts. This month, Amber is up (that’s me!), and we will be hosting my very dear friend Jamie Wyman and her new non-profit organization, The Great Blue Song Project!
The Great Blue Song Project brings the power of songwriting to people coping with illness or grief. Their mission is to make great music that inspires people to live their best lives – no matter how much time they have left. GBSP matches individuals and families with singer-songwriters who can give voice to their stories, including the parts that cannot be expressed by words alone.
Join us on Tuesday, July 9th to learn more about this amazing new project and drink in support of a worthy cause. For every beer you drink we will donate $1 to help Jamie and her song writers complete their very first album and start helping people in need. Check out the progress they’ve made so far at the #findyoursong listening station, and enter in a raffle to win some very cool music and beer related prizes. Everyone’s two favorite things right? July is music month at KBC after all!
